Innishfree American Pointing Labrador / Lab puppies and English Setter gun dogs are raised by the Kelly family in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota. Michael and Linda Kelly strive to ensue that each fox red lab puppy and signature setter gun dogs reflects the true personality of their breed. This means pups that are willing and eager to please and pups that will make loyal and loving companions both on the hunt or on the couch! Innishfree dogs and their puppies are a big part of the Kelly family. Each of the Kelly's nine children (Sasha, Wolfgang, Arian, Keegan, Lothario, Errol, Hunter, Heather, and Amber) eagerly give all of the daily love, attention, and interaction necessary to develop the proper socialization skills that your American Pointing Labrador Pup or Signature English Setter will need for life.

This is not a big commercial "kennel" operation, but an intimate family run enterprise. The folks at Innishfree are proud to have a working relationship with international renowned master hunting dog trainer Jim Helm. Jim is a well known expert in the field of breeding and training Pointing Labs / Labrador hunting dogs and English Setter gun dogs.

Fox Red Pointing Labs / Labradors

Innishfree Labradors are an excellent choice for anyone looking for a versatile sporting dog and an excellent companion. These labs are good upland flushing dogs and are the best retrievers on land and water. Strong hunting drive for birds, smooth gait, endurance in the field, sweet loving disposition, and a natural point are the goals Innishfree Puppies has for all of our labrador pups. These labs pups are easy to train to be obedient around the house or in the field.

Our girls comes from the famous late Mayo Kellogg's red fox pointing lab blood lines.  Libby, our foundation dog, spent several months under the tutelage of Jim Helm before she was deemed high enough quality to be sired with Helm's (Red Fox) Point Doctor who was featured in the April 2004 Outdoor Life magazine article about pointing Labs.  Libby daughters Diana and Foxy as well as their half sister Windy are fine examples of the exceptional qualities of this line and their puppies have been highly sought after for years.
